Manufactured for a private residence on one of Mayfair's most prestigious streets, this kitchen was a collaboration with Cochrane Design. The brief called for cabinetry that would complement the grandeur of the period property while delivering the performance of a modern kitchen. Dark-painted joinery, fluted detailing, and integrated lighting create a dramatic yet functional space.
The Brief
Working with Cochrane Design on a full apartment renovation, the brief was to create a kitchen worthy of one of Mayfair's finest addresses. The existing period detailing demanded cabinetry that felt architectural in scale and quality, while meeting the practical needs of a busy household.
The Design
Dark-painted cabinetry in a custom charcoal shade creates drama against the property's high ceilings and ornate cornicing. Fluted column details and integrated LED lighting add depth and visual interest. The layout maximises every inch of the galley-style space without feeling cramped.
